Objectives of the Olympiad:
– To improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of elementary school students
– To restore the tradition of thinking more difficult problems of the standard type of mathematics in elementary schools
– Support students who are talented in mathematics
– Pre-testing of Mathematics EEP
– To create a ranking among high school students
Scope and features of Olympiad:
– 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students will participate.
The Olympiad will be held in two stages.
Registration: Registration will take place from 07.12.2023 to 15.01.2024 through the Empasoft mobile application. The registration fee of 10,000₮ is confirmed by paying in the payment section of the Empasoft application.
The problems of the Olympiad will be developed by the teachers who are members of the problem-writing committee of the Mongolian Mathematics Olympiad.
Stage I: It will be held across the country on January 20, 2024, in the form of a test in the form of a test among the students who have registered to participate in this Olympiad.
Stage II: On April 27, 2024, 100 students from each of the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades will be selected from the first stage and will be included in the second stage. come and compete with 4 problems in the traditional way, and the final result will be determined based on the scores of this round.
Prize Fund:
From each category:
First degree honors, 150,000₮ cash prize /5 students/
II degree honors, 100,000₮ cash prize /5 students/
III degree honors, 80,000₮ cash prize-/10 students/
If the first 50 students of the 12th grade who succeed in the Olympiad pass the National Threshold score of the Mathematics EEP, each of them will be given a study voucher with a 10% discount on the first year’s tuition fee at “Empasoft” School of Technology.
The participants selected for the 2nd round of the Olympiad will come with a photo (3×4 size and 2 copies), birth certificate, and student ID.
Organization period:
The first stage of the Olympiad will be held simultaneously across the country on January 20, 2024, for the 10th, 11th, and 12th categories at 10:00-11:30 Ulaanbaatar time.
The second stage of the Olympiad will be held on April 27, 2024, on the 5th floor of Empasoft Technology School, located in IDER TOWER, Ulaanbaatar.
Policy Protection:
On April 28, 2024, 10:00-14:00, it will be held on the 9th floor of Empasoft Technology School, located in the IDER TOWER building.
Olympiad award ceremony:
It will be held on April 28, 2024 at 4 p.m. on the 5th floor of IDER TOWER.
